Zoubeyda Kaouadji, lecturer and researcher at the Djillali Liabès Faculty, University of Sidi Bel Abbès, Algeria. Specializes in genetics and the management and improvement of biological resources. My research focuses primarily on animal population genetics, morphometric and molecular characterization of camel breeds, as well as the study of reproductive and dairy performance in camel production systems under arid and Saharan environments. Obtained a Master’s degree in Genetics (Management and Improvement of Biological Resources) in 2016, following a Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a specialization in population dynamics and genetics. Has been actively involved in scientific research through several national and international research internships, notably at the Istituto Superiore di Sanità in Rome and at the Department of Biosciences, Biotechnologies and Biopharmaceutics, University of Bari Aldo Moro (Italy). Was amember of the international ARIMNET–CARAVANE project, which focused on the analysis of genetic relationships among camel populations across the Mediterranean basin using SNP markers. Research has resulted in several peer-reviewed publications in high-impact international journals, including Tropical Animal Health and Production, Scientific Reports, Animal Gene, and Genes. Recent work particularly addresses the dairy potential of female dromedaries, the genettc biodiversity of camel populations in North Africa, and the interactions between breeding practices and zootechnical performance in arid environments. In parallel with research activities, Zoubeyda Kaouadji is actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in biology and genetics, as well as in academic supervision. Has knowledge in statistical and bioinformatics tools applied to quantitative genetics and population analysis, including R, PLINK, STRUCTURE. Have presented research findings at national and international scientific conferences, contributing to the conservation and sustainable use of animal genetic resources in Algeria and the Mediterranean region. I am a native Arabic speaker, fluent in French, and holds a B2 level in scientific English.
